Support ongoing research activities of the Commins Research Lab. Duties will include washing glassware, running the autoclave, maintaining inventory of research materials, and assisting with experiments. Training will be provided and work will be supervised to ensure student safety. Students will have the opportunity participate in research lab meetings to gain insight into translational research, and to gain exposure to the field of medicine. Students interested in serving should reach out in May to scommins@email.unc.edu. Volunteers will be interviewed to assess interest and availability. Positions will be offered only during June enrollment, selected volunteers will be able to gain hours throughout the year.
