Durham Bulls Explorer Post 50
Description

Durham Bulls Explorer Post 50 is a youth-based television broadcasting program that provides students, ages 14-20, with an invaluable opportunity to gain exceptional experience in the field of television broadcasting. Our program is run completely by our members from executive producing, producing, directing, camera operations (cameras 1-9 and camera control units), graphics, audio, score box and video tape (instant replay and commercials). The only part not provided by our members is the play-by-play and color commentary as these positions are covered by paid professionals. We are responsible for the live television broadcasts of all the Durham Bulls Baseball home games throughout the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, FOX 50 (MeTV) and MiLB.com as well as providing highlights for FOX 50 and WRAL’s news programs. This program is part of the Learning for Life Division of the Boy Scouts of America and is sponsored by Capitol Broadcasting Company, FOX 50, WRAL and the Durham Bulls.
