Piedmont IB Science Olympiad

Description

Piedmont Science Olympiad is a registered 501-3(c) organization(46-1650668) with an aim to serve students with a demonstrated aptitude for and commitment to competitive pursuits in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Our purpose is to enable these students to excel at a national level of competition, and by doing so open doors to ongoing opportunities in advanced STEM education and career opportunities.

Volunteer Activities

Volunteers will enable the students by: - Creating an environment of team-building, friendship, and fun - Developing and honing life-long skills such as hard work, resilience, humility, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of competition - Investing in tools, materials, and experiences that further our students’ skills - Ensuring a long-term, sustainable program by developing a deep roster of current and potential students, teacher head coaches, teacher and parent event coaches, community experts, and volunteers on an ongoing basis
