Carolina Waterfowl Rescue & Sanctuary
Description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Carolina Waterfowl Rescue. Our 700 volunteers are what allows CWR to do all we do! Their enthusiasm, dedication and hard work allows us to rescue 7000 animals a year. We have a wide range of opportunities available for all skills and interests. We hope you join our team! YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE AND WITH DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION. VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO LIFT 25 LBS AND BE IN GENERAL GOOD HEALTH. VOLUNTEERS WORKING WITH ANIMALS MUST HAVE A TETANUS BOOSTER AND CAN NOT BE IMMUNE COMPROMISED. YOU CAN NOT VOLUNTEER WITH THE BIRDS IF YOU HAVE HAD A POSITIVE TB (TUBERCULOSIS) TEST. To get started register on our website at Volunteer Registration (volunteermatters.net) Once we receive your registration, we will email you a complete list of available opportunities with descriptions and orientation dates if applicable. Note that all positions at our physical location will require attending an orientation at our facility to review our policies and procedures.
