Zion Church operates annually as a drop off site for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. We collect items and pack shoebox gifts from our congregation but more importantly we accept shoebox gifts from other churches and community members during collection week. Collection week is the third week in November and last 8 days. Our site has been collecting these gifts for 10 years handling more than 12,000 shoeboxes. Once collected shoeboxes are then placed in cartons to prepare for shipping to children around the world.
