Onslow Youth Lacrosse Association's (OYLA) mission is to promote the development and growth of the sport of lacrosse: (a)through the formation of active youth lacrosse teams in Onslow County (b)by promoting and developing knowledge of the rules and skills of lacrosse (c)by promoting and developing the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, character, and respect for coaches, officials, and players (d)by developing, promoting and providing opportunities for coaches and officials to receive training on the rules and skills of lacrosse and the skills necessary to enable coaches and officials to serve as positive role models for boys and girls participating in the sport of lacrosse
