Cognicon (Onslow County Schools Gifted Summer Camp)
Description
Onslow County Schools gifted services leads three week long summer camps for gifted students. There are two weeks for elementary students (June 19-22 and June 26-29) and one week for middle school students (June 19-22). The elementary camp will be held at Jacksonville Commons Elementary School. The middle school camp will be held at the Eastern NC Regional Skills Center.
Volunteer Activities
Volunteers are needed to support students as they participate in our gifted summer camp. Typical activities that volunteers will be asked to do include checking students in and out, working alongside students as they take part in breakout sessions (sessions will be led by a teacher), setting up and cleaning up areas, etc.
