The West Cabarrus YMCA's Share the Harvest Community Farm, a division of the Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA, has been actively growing fresh produce since 2016 for the purpose of donation to those in our communities that are dealing with food insecurities. The donations are primarily made to local, partner food banks to increase the availability of healthy, fresh options for those in need. Since its inception, the YMCA’s Share the Harvest Community Farm has harvested and donated over 65,000 pounds of fresh produce, equating to more than 260,000 servings!
