Student volunteer activities: help with events. Mission: To provide financial support to enhance the capabilities, resources, and services of the Chapel Hill Public Library. CHPLF was established in 1996 by community members who believed in the power of public libraries to change lives. CHPLF stewards long-term financial resources and raises private funds to supplement and partner with public funds.
Volunteer Activities
Our annual fundraiser is in need of volunteers to assit with setup and clean-up, as well as support during the event. It is a costumed event (country & western theme). The volunteers would decorate/take down decorations; make sure the food buffet is supplied and used items are moved to the trash; silent auction and live auction support; coat check; registration table.
