Farmer Foodshare
Description

WHOLESALE MARKET We create opportunities for local growers to supply produce to grocery stores, universities, schools and other institutions. DONATION STATIONS Volunteers use cash donations to purchase fresh produce at farmers markets. The purchased and donated food is given to local agencies. FOOD AMBASSADORS We offer fresh food and food system education in school cafeterias, after-school programs and hunger relief agencies to build healthy eating habits. COMMUNITY FOODSHARE Our produce buying club also builds in nutrition education to engage a community around fresh, locally grown food. FOOD BOX PROGRAM Assembly and distribution of Fresh Food Boxes
